Damon has been making records for over 25 years under the moniker ValveTone.
In that time, Damon has earned producing, engineering and mastering experience credits in studios around world. His breadth of experience and unparalleled passion for creating great recordings makes artists feel like they are in very capable hands.
Cutting his teeth in the years before the digital revolution, Damon is equally at home with traditional analog studio techniques and with modern digital workstations. Damon’s portfolio of work spans all genres, with a heavy emphasis on rock, blues, bluegrass, classical, jazz and world music.
In addition to his well-honed chops as a producer, tracking and mix engineer, Damon brings his years of experience into the mystery-shrouded art of mastering.
